Sifu David Akrish's Bio
With over four decades experience in such systems as: Choy Li Fut, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Kenpo Karate, Muay Thai and western boxing head instructor David Akrish's foundation in the combat arena is quite strong and diverse. He has now decided to devote the rest of his life to the teaching of Modern Arnis. With over two decades of background training with the dynamic, combative systems of Kali and Escrima, the diverse and multifaceted system of Modern Arnis only comes natural. David Akrish is an experienced and thorough instructor as well as a practitioner with a 15 year background in emergency paramedic-firefighting and over 35 years in Chinese Herbal Medicine. He is currently co-owner of Heaven and Earth Chinese Medicine Healing Center.
Classes will be taught with assistant instructor and wife Simo Teah Akrish during the week.
The Heaven and Earth Modern Arnis Academy is not affiliated with any other organization and stands alone as a solo, independent school of martial arts free to teach the essence and science of FMA as interpreted by Sifu Akrish without restriction.
